Okay folks, It's gonna be a whole new game in a few weeks, and what follows is my understanding of the new rules we are going to have to play by.

First, all your job XP will be reset to zero. Bad News
Second, your job items (ie. caravan animals, thief suits, goods) will disappear and be replaced by the ammount of gold you paid for them. This means we will have to buy everything again. Not good but not bad.
Third, You will pretty much be stuck with one job, so choose it wisely. If you want to go from thieving to trading under the new rules, you have to leave the thief "guild" (not our guild) and join the trader "guild". When you do this all of your job XP is lost. Also you can not switch back to thief for 7 days. So choose wisely.
Fourth, when you become a thief (or Trader or Hunter) you will have to register with an alias, not your character name. When you perform a job your alias will show above you, not your char name or guild. This will make it more difficult to not thief Union or Guild members, so it is important that you let the guild know what your alias is. This will supposedly keep ppl from PK'ing you while you are grinding because you stole their goods.
Fifth, NO MORE ONE STAR POPPING (I hate this one) Traders will generate thief npc's and Thieves will generate hunter npc's. I don't have any info on level of caravan, like will we be able to take down a 1 star with direct attack. Also NPC's will only attack job related players, thief npc's will only attack and can only be attacked by hunters and traders; hunter npc's will only attack and can only be attacked by thieves.
Sixth, Hunters and Traders can be in a party together and Thieves can be in a party together, so no more Hunter/Thief parties. Of course there are ways around this so be careful.

We will go through some serious growing pains learning and adjusting to the new system. I suggest that everyone choose their job wisely, and go out and grind as hard as they can to prepare for it. Hunters and Traders will benefit the most from the new rules, Thieves we are going to die a lot until we can figure it out. And we will figure it out and rule Silkroad once again.
