Okay, the question was put to me last night by one of our Senior Guild Members. What if we become a Trader/Hunter guild after the Euro Update. Well to be honest, at first I was appalled, I mean we started as a thieves guild, most of us are level 2 thieves. But, then I was curious, I mean I've been toying with the idea of being a hunter for a while now. I mean let's face the facts.
1. You have noobs on both sides of the fence. I have seen some thieves behave just as badly if not worse than the Hunters I once hated so much.
2. We have several members in the guild who successfully run trades anyways. Heck, even our GM told me that she made over 2 mil runing trades in one day.
3. As Hunters, we still get to kill other players, and that is what it is about for me. As a thief, I'm not too worried about finding goods anymore because it's so hard finding a multi-star. For me it became all about killing Hunters and Traders. And to be honest, last night I went out as a Hunter and in one hour I killed 8 different thieves, some multiple times.
What ever we choose, we have to choose wisely because it won't be so simple to change jobs. I will be happy either way, I just want to get everyones opinion. I am also going to post a poll on this subject. I hope everybody participates.

Now, let me add, I'm not saying everybody has to change their jobs. I think we should be open. My vision for the future of this guild, especially now that we are growing, is to have 3 Units working together. We will have a unit of Traders, using guild funds to run trades to make money to add to the guild fund. We will have a unit of Hunters to protect our guild's investment in these runs. And finally we will have the elite ninja squad taking down the competition, and using the funds from the stolen goods to add to the guild funds. My vision is for all of us, as a guild, with no outside help (except for maybe union members) to run a massive trade with plenty of hunter protection while using our thieves to help monopolize the trade route. Please let me know what your thoughts are.
